CR7-ch.(#) - Single Channel Bandstop

  • Rejection: TV channel (NTSC or ATSC)or RF band- 6-8 MHz stopband
  • Passband: pass all signals, except adjacent channels, 3dB BW 24 MHz Fo
  • Example: Attenuate ch.62 by 20 dB, pass chs 60 and 64. (click for graph)
  • Rejection level: specify 20 dB or 30 dB (custom >50 dB )
  • Stopband:20dB attenuation (6 MHz) - low impact on picture quality
  • Application: attenuate the channel overloading preamp
  • Available Channels: VHF, UHF, and CATV or RF band (2 to 10 MHz)
  • Available for: FM, and Pager bands (more info below)
  • Operating Bandwidth: 5 - 230 MHz, or, 40 - 860 MHz
  • Passband loss: < 1dB ± .5 dB

CR7-ch.(#)HT - UHF Bandstop or Sharp Notch (300 to 900 MHz)

  • Availble as UHF TV channel bandstop (NTSC or ATSC) or Sharp Notch (15 to 55 dB) or RF bandstop - 2-10 MHz stopband
  • High selectivity - designed for UHF adjacent channel interference
  • Bandwidth: 40 to 800 MHz for off-air TV system, or 5 to 1000 MHz CATV/RF systems
  • Example: Attenuate ch.51 by 20 dB, pass chs 52. (see pdf data sheet for sample graphs)
  • Rejection level: specify 20 dB or 40 dB

Custom built multiple channel band-stops

  • Available in one, or more, 1.75" x 19" enclosures
  • Up to 5 channels per enclosure

Assistance: Bandstop Selection / Custom Bandstop

To provide you with the bandstop filter you need, please specify (see fig.1) ...

  1. Stopband channel or frequency (Fs1 & Fs2)
  2. Closest frequencies (or channels) to pass: least loss, or -3dB, - Fc1 & Fc2
  3. Operating Bandwidth: Fb & Fs (e.g., FM only, or 40 to 860 MHz)
  4. Acceptable Passband loss: 1dB typical
  5. Attenuation (in dB): 20 dB standard
  6. Connectors / Impedance: type F / 75 ohms
  7. Details of application - advise us of your specific requirements

Custom Options

  • Connectors (impedance) : type F or BNC (75 ohms); BNC ( 50 ohms); screw terminals (300 ohms)
  • Custom Single channel stopband: specify from 4 to 10 MHz
  • Bandstop Bandwidth: specify Fs1 and Fs2 - wide stopband - click for CR7W (multi-channel bandstops)
  • Attenuation: specify level - from 10 dB to 60 dB
