CATV Channel Eliminators

This line of channel eliminators lets users to block a single TV channel from the cable TV spectrum to allow insertion of local content.

This line of channel eliminators removes multiple TV channels from the cable TV spectrum to allow users to insert multiple local programs.

Our highpass filters, consisting of the CE7-HP series, are designed to pass the upper segment of the CATV spectrum to a specified channel and attenuate the spectrum from the next channel above for reuse.

Our lowpass filters, consisting of the CE7-LP series, are designed to pass the lower segment of the CATV spectrum from a specified cutoff frequency (F_c) to 750/870/1000 MHz, and attenuate signals from 1.5 MHz below, for local content.

Deletion filters can be combined with our line of TL-EMS-BP series RF Bypass Switchers to extend your control over the filters. At the touch of a button on our wireless remote control, you can choose to switch between passing your input signal through one or more filter systems or to output the original signal.

As a simple example, you can use the TL-EMS-BPx1 (see left) in a testing environment where filter effects can be measured and compared. A number of filters can be connected to the on-line signal ports to output the modified signal. Then, simply by pressing a button or by automated computer system (optional), you can choose to flip to off-line mode where the signal bypasses the filters and is transmitted unmodified.
