Model CE7-HP: Adjacent Channel Highpass Filter
CE7-HP - Deep stopband and abrupt roll-off
Highpass filter is specially designed to pass the upper segment of the CATV spectrum from a specified cutoff frequency (Fc) to 550 MHz / 750 MHz*, and reject frequencies from 0 MHz to Fs (1.5 MHz below Fc). New content can be insertion on channel adjacent to cutoff, and below. Example: CE7-HP ch.13/23, pass signals from ch.23 and above (217.25 to 750 MHz), and remove ch.13 and below (0 to 215.75 MHz) for reuse, with no channel lost in transition.
CE7-HP
- Cut off (Fc) is available from channels for 2 to 85, or, from 50 to 594 MHz.
- Transition from passband to stopband is 1.5 MHz
- Adjacent carrier loss (Fc): 5 to 7.5 dB
- Passband Loss: < 1.5dB ± .5 dB ripple
- Deep Stopband: 50 dB min (55 dB typ.)
* Passband to 1000 MHz, some models - inquire
Model BR7-HP LQ: Semi-Adjacent Highpass Filter
BR7-HP LQ - Deep stopband and very sharp roll-off
BR7-HP LQ
Filter will pass the upper segment of the CATV spectrum from a specified cutoff frequency (Fc) and delete the lower frequency spectrum from Fs (6 to 8 MHz below Fc). Local content can be inserted in the stopband from one channel below Fc. Upper passband: 550 / 750 /1000 MHz*
Example: BR7-HP 23/25 LQ. Pass ch.25 to ch.100 (228 to 650 MHz), and remove ch.23 and below (0 to 222 MHz) for reuse. One channel is lost in transition. 1000 MHz passband optional.
- Selectivity - one channel ( 6 to 8 MHz ) transition
- Low Passband Loss: <1.5dB ± 1 dB ripple
- Stopband: 55dB typical
- Passband Loss at cut-off (Fc): 3.5 to 5.5 dB typical
- Fc is available from chs 2 to 94, or 50 to 650 MHz
* Passband to 860 or 1000 MHz available for most models - inquire
Model HP7E: Highpass ( 5% Transition Passband / Stopband )
HP7E - Deep stopband and sharp roll-off
Filter passes the upper segment of the cable TV spectrum from a specified channel, or frequency (Fc) - passband is Fc to 550/750 MHz*, and suppress all signals in stopband from 0 MHz to Fs (Fc to Fs frequency transition is 5%). Example: Install at Ch.86 modulator output to pass ch.86 ( Fc= 594 MHz) to suppress spurious on ch 80 (564 MHz, Fs) and below.
- Passband loss: <1dB +/-.5 dB ripple
- Return loss: 14 dB typical
- Deep Stopband: - 55 dB typical
- Passband/Stopband transition: 5% (more details)
- Fc available from chs 2 to 94, or 50 to 650 MHz
* Passband to 1000 MHz, some models - inquire
