CE7-series - High Performance Bandstop Filter

Filter deletes one TV channel from the CATV spectrum to allow insertion of local content, and passes all other channels. Example: CE7-59, deletes ch.59 for insertion of lobby camera modulated on ch.59. CE7 is also available for QAM channel deletion applications (CE7Q-ch.#).

  • Adjacent channel selectivity
  • Stopband: > 55 dB rejection across channel
  • Low loss on adjacent channels (see CE7-specs)
  • Passband loss: <1 dB 0.5 dB ripple
  • 1000 MHz bandwidth option (most models)
  • Return Loss: 16 dB typical (see graph)
  • CE7 is available for chs 95(A5)-99(A1), A14 to I22, 7 to 108
    (see BR7-series or CE7-2501 for chs sub-band, 2-6, A8 - A1, A14 - I22)
  • CE7Q (QAM version) is available for QAM chs 2 thru 6; 95(A5)-99(A1), A14 to I22, 7 to 135
  • Custom stopband - remove any frequency band (2 to 8 MHz wide), Fo within 120 to 700 MHz
  • Power passing - < 2 AMP; Good temperature stability

Model CR7-3AE is an economical, high rejection bandstop filter that removes cable TV channel 3,and, passes all other signals (including chs 2 and 4). This permits insertion of local content on ch.3 from modulated sources , such as, DVD player,Satellite Receiver, Security camera, PC. Model CR7-#AE is also available for Channel 2, 4, 5 or 6; CH.95(A5) to 99(A1).

  • High attenuation stopband: > 50 dB
  • Adjacent carrier loss: < 6dB at lower audio and < 5dB at upper video
  • Bandwidth: 5MHz to 1000MHz

Semi-adjacent, high rejection bandstop, is designed to remove one specific TV channel from a cable TV source, to permit insertion of local program, and pass all other channels, except adjacent channels - approximate 3dB BW: 18MHz (chs <600 MHz) to 30MHz(chs >800 MHz).

  • Channels available 2 to 158; and 14 to 65 UHF
  • Stopband attenuation: 55 dB typical
  • Impact on next-to-adjacent channels: < 3dB (below chs 60) to 6dB (above ch 100)
